With the development of the social economy having improved a lot,the population of the elderly is increasing constantly.Until 2022,the aging of population enters a new circle,whose severe situation can not be neglected.In The Important Working Points Issued By Education Bureau in 2022,it specifically comes up with the requirements of "Fastening the development of the education of the elderly","Fastening the construction of the education system serving for the lifelong study of the whole people",etc.,which states that the education problem of the elderly has become extra important matter focused by country and the society.As one important form of the education for the elderly,the music education can not only satisfy the spiritual cultural needs of the elderly masses,improve their artistic cultivation and the entire literacy,but also facilitate the mutual communication among the elderly,relieve the anxious psychology,and have active function towards their mental and physical health development and the happy life in their later years,then promote work in all areas by drawing upon the experience gained on key points,to facilitate the harmonious development of the whole society.Basing on the social background of the aging of the elderly,and taking Weihai City as the example,the article takes the value function of music education and relevant policy of"elderly education"."six duties in old age",etc.advocated by the country as the writing support,analyzes the aesthetic entertainment value,treatment value,cultural heritage value and social harmonious value brought by the music education of the elderly,and investigates the current development situation of the music education of the elderly in this city,deeply digs out the existed problem and reason among this,explores optimization strategy,hoping to facilitate the high-quality development of music education of the elderly,and try to provide actual available development ideas of the music education of the elderly in nationwide.In addition to the prologue of this article,it consists of three parts.As for the prologue part,it introduces the research purpose and significance of this article,sorts out relevant literature at home and abroad,then introduces the innovative points and research value of this article;The first chapter,briefly elaborates relevant concepts and value of the music education of the elderly,summarizes the characteristics and properties,analyzes the important value of aesthetic entertainment,treatment,cultural heritage and social harmony of the music education in the elderly group;The second chapter,through the form of questionnaire and interview,investigates the current situation of the music education of the elderly in Weihai City,collects and sorts out the results of the questionnaire and the interview information,and analyzes the achievements,problems and causes of the music education;The third chapter,cutting from three perspectives of government,elderly education authority and the elderly themselves,offer the optimized strategy from multiple dimensions of publicity method,capital support,teaching system,and individual behaviour,hoping to promote the high-quality development of the music education of the elderly.
