Wang Xilin(1936-present)is known as one of the most thoughtful composers and solid composition techniques in contemporary China.His works are full of independence,innovation and nationalism.His works are rooted in the blood of national culture,integrating ethnic folk music with modern composition techniques,and his works present grand and splendid acoustics and are very personal.The Violin Concerto belongs to Wang Xilin’s middle and late works,and his personal musical aesthetics have matured during this period.The composer shows the creative style of the late period through the creative aesthetic of the personal "tragic spirit".This article analyzes this work using the orchestration as the writing point.This article will analyze the work in three chapters.The first chapter will focus on the periodization and characteristics of the composer’s life and creative style,and briefly analyze the three movements of the Violin Concerto.The second chapter is the core chapter of the thesis,which mainly analyzes the texture factors,timbre and sound composition and contrast changes of the work.Chapter 3 focuses on the relationship between the solo violin and the orchestra,exploring in turn the changes in the orchestra’s instrument configuration when the solo instrument is the main player.
