China and India have a long history of civilization,and Chinese and Bengali are among the most spoken languages ??in the world.The forms of idioms are rich and varied.Mastering the connotation and usage of idioms is of great benefit to understanding and using a country’s language and culture.Human body idioms have a large coverage in language,are widely used,and are close to real life,so the frequency of human body idioms is high and has extremely high research value.At the same time,no matter in Chinese or Bengali,the meaning of human body idioms is not a collection of simple meanings.Its connotation and extension are quite rich,which is worthy of our in-depth exploration.This article contains many idiom sentence demonstrations.The corpus is from the online corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University and Peking University,except for a few Internet terms and advertising terms.The examples of these corpora are more accurate and detailed.First,the introduction part introduces the current research status of the thesis and puts forward the author’s thinking on the shortcomings of Chinese and Bengali language research.It is hoped that this article can enrich the research results in this field to a certain extent.Secondly,the main body of the thesis is divided into five chapters.The first chapter starts with the concept definition of Chinese and Bengali idioms about the human body,sorts out and classifies the idioms to be analyzed;Differences in the sources of idioms,differences in language and culture(including differences in language structure and semantics),differences in cultural characteristics(including differences in usage characteristics and differences in cultural connotations);Chapter Five summarizes these differences in general The reasons for the formation,and the enlightenment brought by these differences.Finally,the conclusion part summarizes the content of the thesis again,discusses the purpose and significance of the research,and at the same time clarifies the shortcomings of this thesis and the direction of future efforts.The author hopes that by taking human body idioms as the main analysis object and breakthrough point,comparative study of the corresponding language and cultural phenomena in Chinese and Bengali,and exploring the deep cultural connotations and related derivative meanings contained in them,it will help second language learners learn more accurately and efficiently.To communicate and cooperate.
