Neoclassical music was born in the 20 th century and is one of the most important music schools at that time.As the most representative composer of neoclassical music,Stravinsky pushed neoclassical music to a new height through his own creation.Symphony in C Major was created in the neoclassical period,and it is a work that is written according to the typical symphonies of the classical period both in terms of musical style and musical structure.As such,it served to consolidate the neoclassical style and is one of Stravinsky’s most important works of this period.This paper will take the definition of neoclassicism as the starting point,further sort out the development context,and through the depth of Stravinsky’s neoclassicism thought,so as to further explore the neoclassical music style contained in the Symphony in C Major. |
