| As one of the most active writers in contemporary literary circles,Luo Weizhang’s works are sharp,profound,allegorical and other styles.Due to the rich and diverse subjects of his works,some people call Luo Weizhang’s novels "bottom novels","educational novels" and "regional cultural novels".Some critics have also criticized his dark style of fiction for its deep,pungent writing.Luo Weizhang’s early novels are based on plain style,revealing the plight of people at the bottom of society.When expressing the plight of survival,the novels always let the difficulties in life come one after another without giving people any breathing space,while the later novels pay more attention to the exploration of narrative techniques and the excavation of human nature.This paper focuses on the analysis of three themes of Luo Weizhang’s novels: history,regional culture,left-behind and education,summarizes the spiritual connotation expressed in Luo Weizhang’s novels,and explores his care for the human spirit.The introduction part expounds the significance and purpose of the research on Luo Weizzhang’s novel themes,and some researchers’ literature review and research methods on Luo Weizzhang’s literary creation.The first chapter mainly analyzes the historical and regional cultural themes of Luo Weizzhang’s novels.It selects the war writing with the Chongqing bombing as the background,the hunger writing with the great famine as the background,and the regional culture writing represented by the culture of Bashu region to analyze the living state of people in the war,hunger and living in a specific region.Explore the mental and physical pain and confusion of people in a particular period.The second chapter mainly analyzes the left-behind theme in Luo Weizhang’s novels in the process of modernization,discusses the loss and pursuit of family emotion,the loss of individual life and the struggle of destiny,and the rural crisis in the process of modernization,analyzes the inner anguish and struggle of left-behind people in the wave of modernization,and the separation and stripping of the countryside during the construction of urbanization.The third chapter mainly analyzes the current status of "morbid" education in Luo Weizzhang’s novels.It discusses from three aspects,namely,the wipeout of rural education,the distortion of teachers’ ethics of educators and the imbalance of education mechanism,and analyzes how the novels express the psychological state of teachers,students and parents under the contemporary education mechanism,as well as how to reveal the loopholes and drawbacks in the contemporary education system.The fourth chapter mainly discusses the origin and value of the creation of Luo Weizzhang’s novel theme.Through the analysis of Luo Weizzhang’s growth experience,education experience and work experience,it reveals the influence of the writer’s life experience on his works,explores the dialectical unity of "anti-modernization" consciousness and "modernization" consciousness manifested in the works,and explores the spiritual value contained in the works.The epilogue summarizes the whole text,points out the epochal nature and sociality of the theme of Luo Weizzhang’s novels,and points out some problems in his creation. |
