Study On Artistic Features Of Uemura Shoen Beauty Painting

During the Meiji Restoration,the introduction of Western painting concepts and techniques greatly impacted Japanese painting.Under the influence of the world economic crisis in 1928,the Japanese Association for the Creation of Traditional Chinese Painting was dissolved.Japanese painting gradually regained order and coordination in form,and this period is known as the "return of neoclassical nature".One of the representative painters is living in Uemura Shoen in Kyoto.Uemura Shoen has studied under three teachers,namely Suzuki Matsui,Yoshino Meiling,and Takeuchi Kifeng.These three teachers are all painters of the Kyoto Round Mountain Four Stripes School.The Yuanshan Four Stripes School emphasizes the sketching and Eastern charm of painting,coupled with Uchimura Songyuan’s love for traditional culture,so Uemura Shoen often creates works about traditional culture.The paper takes the development of historical events as the research context,and explores the reasons for the formation of the artistic characteristics of Uemura Shoen through the study of its paintings,artistic ideas,and artistic activities.Combined with the artistic concept of Uemura Shoen,it analyzes the artistic value and cultural heritage contained in the beauty paintings of Uemura Shoen.The beauty paintings of Uemura Shoen are different from the woodblock carved beauty paintings of the Ukiyoe period.In terms of themes,Uemura Shoen portrays characters from Japanese folk songs,images of classical Chinese beauties,and dignified and generous customs beauties from a unique perspective.In terms of creation techniques,Uemura Shoen did not change the times like Ukiyoe masters.She combined the performance techniques of Western painting and inherited the traditional figure painting painting techniques.The expression of female consciousness in the beauty paintings of Uemura Shoen is the most influential part in the art field.She deeply portrays the inner world of women with her unique flexibility and delicate feelings towards life,coupled with her unique aesthetic perspective and specific forms of expression.Based on the related painting theory and works,this paper studies the artistic features of the beautiful paintings of Uemura Shoen,which are divided into five chapters.The first chapter collects and collates the relevant research materials at home and abroad,discusses the research background and present situation of the beauty painting of Uemura Shoen,and explains the research purpose,content and innovation of the thesis.The second chapter analyzes the data,discusses the life experience of Uemura Shoen,the definition of beauty painting and the development of Japanese beauty painting.The third chapter analyzes the causes of the beauty painting style in Uemura Shoen through the study of relevant data.The fourth chapter is based on the painting theory and beauty painting works of Uemura Shoen.The artistic features of Uemura Shoen beauty painting are analyzed,from the subject matter,techniques,painting thoughts and feelings.The fifth chapter summarizes the artistic value,the influence and the fusion of Chinese and Japanese culture from the comments of Japanese art critics and painters and the study of the beautiful painting of Uemura Shoen.
