Research On The "Xuanguan" Thought Of Southern School Of Inner Alchemy In Song And Yuan Dynastie

"Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" is an important concept of Inner Alchemy.In the classic discourse of Inner Alchemy the open "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" is often regarded as the key of Inner Alchemy cultivation.As a mature school of Inner Alchemy in the Song and Yuan Dynasties,the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" thought of Inner Alchemy Southern sect is worthy of our systemically sorting out.In view of this,the paper is mainly divided into three parts to discuss the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" thought of Inner Alchemy Southern sect in the Song and Yuan Dynasty.The first part is the discussion of the ideological origin of the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" of Inner Alchemy Southern sect.This part mainly starts from the theory of "metaphysical female" in "Lao Tzu" and the transformation of the cultivation theory of "metaphysical female" in Taoism.The "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" of Inner Alchemy Southern sect originates from the thought of "metaphysical female" in Taoist "Lao Tzu"."metaphysical female" is an image and metaphor to describe the generative ability of "Tao".With the development of Taoism and the emergence of Inner Alchemy,the "metaphysical female" theory of expressing "Tao" in "Lao Tzu" was gradually refined by Taoism,which is called "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan".The second part mainly discusses the importance and position of "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" in Inner Alchemy’s theory of Southern sect.First of all,it explains the lineages of Inner Alchemy Southern sect.Secondly,according to the discussion of the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" thought in the classics of the Inner Alchemy Southern sect,the importance of the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" thought is emphasized.Finally,this paper expounds the position of the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" of Inner Alchemy Southern sect.The view of the position of the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" has a changing process,but generally speaking,the Inner Alchemy Southern sect holds the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" non-positioning.The third part mainly discusses the the relationship between the theory of "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" and the theory of mind and the cultivation theory in Inner Alchemy Southern sect.On the one hand,the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" thought of Inner Alchemy Southern sect has established a close connection with the theory of mind.The Inner Alchemy Southern sect always adhere to the Double cultivation of Xing and Ming,Ming Gong and Xing Gong all need the cultivation of the mind,this “heart” is not a physiological mind,but the natural mind.In the sense of the theory of mind,this "heart" is the "Tao" or the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan".Inner Alchemy Southern sect stressed that after the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" is opened,it means the real beginning of the Inner Alchemy cultibation,and the mental condition for opening of the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" is to achieve a state of true static.On the other hand,Inner Alchemy Southern sect believed that the use of "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" throughout the cultivation of Inner Alchemy.In the process of the cultivation of Inner Alchemy Southern sect,only through the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan" can obtain the "the one Qi of prior to heaven" and obtain the "the true medicine of inner alchemy".Therefore,Inner Alchemy Southern sect emphasized that from the beginning of self-cultivation,it is necessary to know the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan",and Inner Alchemy Southern sect believes that each stage of Inner Alchemy practice is closely related to the "Acupuncture Point Hsuen-Guan".
