| In the history of the Middle Ages,Powerful clans in Jiangdong region was an important part of Clans in politics for generations in the Six Dynasties. However, the academic circle on the clans of officials from generation to generation in the Middle Ages mainly focused on the clans of surnamed Qiao, and the research on the Jiangdong ethnic groups is often insufficient.Compared with the Qiao clan, the Jiangdong clans were active on the political stage from the Three Kingdoms to the Sui and Tang Dynasties, and their vitality was far more lasting than that of the Qiao clan.Especially in the period of the Jin and Song dynasties, with the decline of the Qiao clan in military, political, economic and other aspects,Liu Yu and other gentry gradually took power, breaking the clan politics. In the face of this change, the Jiangdong clans changed the political situation of the Qiao clan in the Eastern Jin Dynasty and actively participated in the political and military struggle in order to improve their power and status. This paper is divided into five chapters in chronological order. The first chapter is limited to the period from Liu Yu’s founding in the Song Dynasty to Liu Yu’s founding. At the time of the reform in the Jin and Song Dynasties, the Jiangdong clans were dissatisfied with the dictatorship of the Qiao clans, and many times turned to Liu Yu,the second-class clans,to eradicate dissidents and make contributions to the Northern Expedition, thus laying a political foundation for the Jiangdong clans when they were established in the Liu and Song Dynasties. The second, third and fourth chapters are limited to the period from the accession of Emperor Wen of the Song Dynasty to the death of Emperor Ming of the Song Dynasty. This paper analyzes the specific political actions taken by the Jiangdong clans to seek their own rights and interests in the process of internal and external disturbances in the middle of the Liu and Song dynasties. The fifth chapter mainly studies the period of Song and Qi changes. At this time, the Jiangdong clans did not choose to rely on the native Wuxing Shen Youzhi, but on Lanling Xiao Daocheng, which laid a political foundation for their establishment in the South Qi.In a word, this paper mainly studies the specific political activities and actions of Jiangdong clans in the whole Liusong period. In this process, their political status will inevitably fluctuate. However, compared with the whole Eastern Jin Dynasty, the Jiangdong clan changed its status as a member of the Qiao clan in the Eastern Jin Dynasty by actively participating in political activities, and its status was significantly improved in the Liu Song Dynasty. |
