Research On The Application Of Geometric Patterns In Contemporary Ceramic Painting

As a common element in artists’ depiction of the real world and artistic creation,geometric patterns are also elements directly related to the essence of things in terms of points,lines and surfaces,and are reflected in many works of art.Geometry is the first language used by human beings to reveal the inner meaning of things and express real emotions.Geometric patterns stand out in ancient and modern ceramic paintings because of their formal beauty,and it is of great significance to deeply understand,sort out and analyze the artistic language of geometric patterns for the creation of paintings.In this paper,we analyze the artistic expression of geometric patterns in ceramic painting from the perspective of data research,image analysis,and experimental methods.The artistic characteristics of geometric patterns in contemporary ceramic paintings are summarized and combined with examples to analyze their application and performance in ceramic paintings,so as to explore the unique artistic language and its expression in contemporary ceramic paintings and find new directions and inspirations for the creation of contemporary ceramic paintings.This paper is divided into three parts: the first part discusses the definition of the concept of geometric patterns,the reasons for their formation in ceramic painting and their historical presentation,taking the geometric patterns of painted pottery,Shang and Zhou dynasties and Qing and Qing dynasties as the representatives of geometric patterns with characteristics of the times,analyzing them from three aspects: color expression,painting techniques and organization,and summarizing the geometric patterns in early The second part analyzes and interprets works with geometric patterns in contemporary ceramic painting,discusses their application in contemporary ceramic painting,explores their formal aesthetics in ceramic painting,and analyzes the composition of paintings through the effect of geometric color blocks and shapes in the picture;the last part summarizes the geometric pattern aesthetics adapted to contemporary ceramic painting.The last part is to summarize the aesthetic characteristics of geometric patterns in contemporary ceramic painting and incorporate them into one’s graduation work.The meaning of this part is to learn from the artistic characteristics of geometric patterns in contemporary ceramic paintings through the practice of graduation work and create more formal ceramic works to enrich its possibilities in ceramic painting creation.
