| The theory of "Base and Superstructure" is a basic proposition of historical materialism,and it is also a "hardcore" problem for understanding historical materialism,but the distorted understanding of the existence of this theory,this distortion makes the problem always bound in a fixed framework,which undoubtedly increases the concealment of the theoretical understanding of "Base and Superstructure".In the process of their theoretical research,British Marxist scholars have always paid attention to the interpretation and dissemination of the theory of "foundation and superstructure",Eagleton,as one of them,critically inherited the cultural research tradition of British Marx,absorbed and borrowed the positive results of the debate between structuralism and culturalism,and restated the theoretical value and revolutionary significance of the theory of "Base and Superstructure" under the premise of opposing economic determinism,to a certain extent,defended the Marxist position,eased class contradictions,on this basis,It opens up the way for Marxist cultural practice and enriches the theoretical connotation of Marxist practical philosophy.At the same time,for the analysis of Eagleton’s theoretical views,what is important is not the conclusions he reached,but the problems he raised in the face of realistic conditions,and the angles and analytical methods used to solve them,which will help us to be down-to-earth and combine with reality in the current era,enrich the practical theory of socialism with Chinese characteristics,and promote the integration of Marxism with the Chinese era and the China’s reality better. |
