The Research Of Linyi Meihu Opera Troupe

Yuncheng Meihu Opera was originally called "Mi Hu" in the local dialect,so named because of its gentle and lingering melody,which often makes people fascinated.Meihu Opera in southern Shanxi province developed on the basis of folk songs and folk songs on both sides of the Shanxi,Shaanxi and Yellow Rivers,and then gradually improved.Nowadays,Meihu Opera is widely circulated in the Golden Triangle of the Yellow River such as Shanxi,Shaanxi and Henan.Linyi Meihu Opera Troupe was founded in early 1953 and has served the people for more than 70 years.In 2008,"Yuncheng Meihu Opera" was included in the second batch of national intangible cultural heritage protection list,and Linyi Meihu Opera Troupe became a national intangible cultural heritage "Yuncheng Meihu Opera" protection unit.This selection will bring a new development opportunity for the troupe.Despite this,since the troupe has not yet found a suitable development path after the troupe has been transformed into an enterprise,the current troupe’s development is still facing a more severe crisis of survival.The Linyi Meihu Opera Troupe is composed of four parts: the leadership team,actors,band and logistics.The members of the troupe are all from Linyi County.The age distribution of the actors is relatively balanced,and the band members are mostly temporary workers and are older.Due to the low salary and treatment of personnel,the internal member mobility is relatively large.The troupe performs about 300 performances every year,90% of which are performed in Linyi County and its subordinate administrative villages.Although the troupe has a considerable number of performances and the repertoire is constantly updated,the development of the troupe is still in a downward trend.Based on the current situation,this paper will sort out and study the survival and development status,personnel composition and performance of the troupe based on field investigation and related literature.On the basis of in-depth investigation and understanding of the existing situation,performance,talent training,non-genetic inheritance of Linyi Meihu Opera Troupe.It tries to explore the difficulties it faces in the process of development.In this regard,this paper discusses how the troupe can reasonably allocate government special funds under the support of national policies to solve the problems of the overall downturn in the performance market,the lack of innovation ability,the low professional quality of actors and the impact of cultural diversity.Based on expectations,we will put forward feasible suggestions for the development of the Linyi Meihu Opera Troupe,and provide assistance for the inheritance of Meihu Opera in southern Shanxi province.
