The Study On The Jin Si Lu Literature Written By Zhang Boxing

Zhang Boxing was a famous official of Neo-Confucianism in the early Qing Dynasty,he particularly admired the book of Jin Si Lu completed by Zhu Xi and LüZuqian,specially wrote and supplemented the works Jin Si Lu Ji Jie,Xu Jin Si Lu and Guang Jin Si Lu to invent and interpret the book of Jin Si Lu.These three works complement and support each other.Zhang Boxing turned one book into three books,comprehensively annotating,supplementing and imitating Jin Si Lu.It is rare not only in the history of Qing Dynasty,but also in the history of Chinese science.This article takes Jin Si Lu Ji Jie,Xu Jin Si Lu and Guang Jin Si Lu as a whole research,because these three books are all written by Zhang Boxing around Jin Si Lu,selecting the quotations of important Neo-Confucian scholars in the Song,Yuan and Ming dynasties,it reflects Zhang Boxing’s understanding of Neo-Confucianism.And for the convenience of writing,they are collectively referred to as Zhang Boxing’s Jin Si Lu Literature in this article.The thesis comprehensively shows Zhang Boxing’s family background,official career,and his contacts with the people of the time;It explains the social background of Zhang Boxing’s Jin Si Lu Literature from the social environment and academic environment in the early Qing Dynasty;It discusses the similarities and differences between Zhang Boxing’s collections of interpretations,continuations and supplements and Jin Si Lu,analyzing the annotation features of Jin Si Lu Ji Jie which is good in rationale and rich in citations,summarizing the main idea and occasional opinions.Xu Jin Si Lu explains that Zhu Zi supplements Zhu Zi,expressing his own opinion occasionally and taking other people’s interpretations.Guang Jin Si Lu selects Song,Yuan and Ming Confucian quotations to expand its theory.This paper summarizes the main ideas of Zhang Boxing’s Jin Si Lu Literature,which is reflected in the respect of the Lord,the practice.It is believed that these three Jin Si Lu Literature have broadened the way of dissemination of Jin Si Lu,in the style of the past and the future.This appendix is specially compiled because the annotated content of Zhang Boxing’s Jin Si Lu Ji Jie,Xu Jin Si Lu can more intuitively express his philosophical thoughts.Zhang Boxing’s Jin Si Lu Literature continued the cognition,interpretation and acceptance of Cheng Zhu’s Neo-Confucianism from the Song Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty,building a framework for the interpretation of the history of Jin Si Lu from the Song Dynasty to the Ming Dynasty.This thesis deeply excavates Zhang Boxing’s life,styles and contents of Jin Si Lu Literature,etc.It is intended to give readers a comprehensive understanding of it,and then explore the contribution of Jin Si Lu Literature to Cheng-Zhu Neo-Confucianism,especially to the dissemination of Zhu Zixue.
