Analysis Of The Creative Characteristics Of The Hybrid Electronic Music Work "Alarm Clock

Mix electronic music plays a very important role in the development of electronic music because of its unique way of performance.In this field,Portuguese contemporary composer Joao Pedro Oliveira has deep artistic attainments.His writing skills are skilled,and he can skillfully integrate traditional composition techniques into electronic music works,which is very representative both in terms of overall creation characteristics and specific sound organization.It is very necessary to analyze a work combining electronic music and live instruments in the future.At the same time,the author’s graduation work Alarm Clock was inspired by Beyond,a hybrid electronic music work by Oliveira.This paper will take the author’s work Alarm Clock as an example to analyze the creation characteristics of this work.First of all,the sound in the work is divided into instrumental music and electronic music,which are discussed and analyzed from the perspectives of sound materials,sound organization and overall structure.Secondly,analysis of instrumental music and electronic music between the two parts of the contrast and fusion.Finally,the organization relationship of the whole work is sorted out from micro to macro point of view.Since this work is the author’s original work,it can be more intuitive,more detailed analysis of the creation characteristics of the work,trying to sum up a potential law of creation.On this basis,it can also provide more technical reference for the future creation practice,which is also the value and significance of this paper.
