An Exploration Of The Development And Art Forms Of Gao Wang Yuan Lian Hualao

The Gao Wang Yuan Lian hua Lao,which integrates song,music,and dance,is a legacy of the Tianjin Lian hua Lao.In response to the ambiguity of the historical lineage of this dance type and the lack of research on the art noumenon,this paper uses fieldwork,audio-visual image research,dance ecology research,and other research methods to provide a chronological overview of the development of the "Gao Wang Yuan Lian hua Lao." The paper analyses the artistic form and stylistic characteristics of the Gao Wang Yuan Lian hua Lao and,in the light of its development,proposes feasible suggestions for the inheritance and development in contemporary society.The text is divided into three chapters.In the first chapter,this paper starts from the origin and evolution of the Lian hua Lao and illustrates the background of the "Gao Wang Yuan Lian hua Lao" in the context of Tianjin’s local culture,the three stages of development according to the rise and fall of the dance,identify the current situation and problems in its inheritance.In the second chapter,the paper describes the unique performance form,the gorgeous costumes,the four types of props and the popular music and lyrics of the "Gao Wang Yuan Lian hua Lao",and summarises the three stylistic features of this dance type from the art form.The third chapter puts forward practical suggestions on the inheritance and development of the Gao Wang Yuan Lian hua Lao from two perspectives: the dynamics of inheritance and the path of inheritance.
