Research On Mongolian Font Design For Mobile Terminal

With the enhancement of mobile terminal functions and the development of screen display technology,high-resolution display devices have covered computers and mobile terminals,and the display precision has been able to meet the complex needs of people.With the popularization of display technology,the traditional way of reading is gradually replaced by electronic reading,and the concept of font design in the era of low-resolution display screen is gradually becoming a thing of the past.The absence of the limitations of display technology means that fonts can be presented in a freer,more diverse way,and can carry more information.Mongolian mobile terminal fonts are also facing the same changes,opportunities and challenges.The main content of this study is to discuss the development of Mongolian terminal fonts.In this thesis according to the text in the mobile terminal technology development overview,combed the text in the spread of the mobile terminal font characteristics,through the different language fonts at the mobile terminal development present situation analysis,put forward the problems existing in the Mongolian in the mobile terminal,such as single font types,application technology lag and so on,to point out the necessity of its improved;Based on the characteristics of Mongolian characters,this thesis compares the excellent cases of font application of mobile terminals in various countries,puts forward the design principles and methods of special fonts for Mobile terminals of Mongolian characters,and then completes a set of Serif fonts of Mongolian characters suitable for mobile terminals.In the first part of the thesis,by comparing the development of different languages in mobile terminals,the development status of Mongolian characters in China’s mobile terminals is comprehensively sorted out and the existing problems are put forward.In the second part,by comparing excellent fonts at home and abroad,combing and analyzing the shape characteristics of Mongolian characters,the design criteria of Mongolian mobile terminal fonts are summarized from the aspects of font recognition,readability,interaction,adaptability and unity.In the third and fourth parts,the theory of font design is summarized,and a special Mongolian font for mobile terminals is designed based on the practice of font methods.Mongolian script has a long history and is an important part of the excellent traditional culture of the Chinese nation,as well as the wisdom and imprint of human civilization.In the face of technological change,how to adapt the tradition to The Times is a topic we need to explore and practice,and is also the core value of this study.
