Zhang Shuai’s "Three Preludes" was created in 1988.This work combines Chinese and western creative techniques wonderfully.It not only has traditional harmony,but also adds modern jazz rhythm.This work enriches the style of Chinese piano music.The work is a combination of Chinese and Western music and Chinese and western piano music creation techniques.Playing skills require the use of finger weight,the rationality of melody,syncopation,jazz rhythm and harmony.In this set,he took Chinese musical characteristics to the extreme and added new harmonic colors,It is necessary to understand Zhang Shuai and his works.Through the analysis and research of Zhang Shuai’s “Three Preludes”,this paper demonstrates its unique musical characteristics and performance interpretation.
