Character Creation And Aria Analysis Of "Yo Yo" In The National Opera "Yo Yo Lu Ming

On May 30,2017,Ningbo staged its first original local folk opera Youyou Lu Ming in order to further promote the efforts of pairing and cultural exchanges between the two sides.Based on the female scientist Tu Youyou,the opera mainly tells the story of how Tu discovered artemisinin and some important life experiences in her growth.In opera,the successful creation of a character requires the joint action of various elements,such as script design,stage design,music design and actors’ stage performance,etc.The folk opera Youyou Luling has a unique treatment of some techniques in the role creation of the protagonist tu Youyou.The author will try to analyze the characterization of "Tu Youyou" from the aspects of character background,lyrics and stage performance,and feel and summarize the patriotic spirit reflected in the opera,so that more audiences can experience the perseverance and selfless dedication of many medical researchers.
