Comprehensive material painting is not a new concept.As early as the middle of the 20 th century,the "poor art" represented by Alberto Brie has a very mature appearance in the performance of comprehensive materials,and has important enlightenment and reference significance for today’s research on comprehensive material art.This paper explains the method,characteristics,value and significance of the artist Alberto Brie’s transformation of daily things into works of art,which is called poor art.The first part summarizes the source and language expression of poor art,combined with the analysis of the artist Alberto Brie’s paintings,more comprehensively explains the concept,background and diverse forms of poor art.The second part discusses the value of poor art painting language based on the changes of Alberto Brie’s creative techniques in different periods,combined with the analysis and interpretation of representative works in each stage;Through in-depth study of the abstract form composition of Alberto Brie’s paintings,the subjective texture processing of materials and the symbolic concept expression,we can understand the artistic language form of Alberto brie’s poor art and the various creative practices that he endows daily objects with new ideas and meanings,so as to achieve the transformation from non art to art.The third part summarizes the significance and value of poor art to Europe,the United States and Chinese painting circles,and its influence on the later artists’ creative ideas and painting ideas.It also expounds the profound influence of Alberto Brie on the author’s painting inspiration,painting ideas and new life experience.
