Research On The Function Of Ideological And Political Education In Main-melody Film And Television Plays In The New Era

On the principle of socialist literary and artistic creation,main-melody films and television plays take the promotion of mainstream ideology as the core purpose of creation and major realities,revolutions and historical events as main contents.Entering a new era,those films and television plays have made remarkable achievements.From Wolf Warrior Ⅱ to The Battle At Lake Changjin,they are increasingly appearing in the public eye with high words of mouth,they become strong spiritual strength to support Chinese people.With the unique function to promote the mainstream ideology,mainmelody films and television plays are important carriers of ideological and political education.Especially,with the advent of all-media and digital era,the study on this issue should be further strengthened.The function of ideological and political education is the integral component of those films and television plays,including improving individual ideological and political quality,fostering and carrying forward core socialist values,and servicing the modernization of national capacity for governance.Compared with other approaches,those works play an unique role in ideological and political education.Meanwhile,the“uniqueness” is irreplaceable,because it can improve the attraction of such education through the narrative strategy,enhance the appeal of education through image expressions,and expand the coverage of education through multi-channel communication.To optimize those methods,the following three basic principles should be followed: the balance of education and artistry,the coordination of humanity and science,and the combination of dominance and diversity.Meanwhile,it is a systematic project to exert the function of those films and television plays in ideological and political education,during which the guide and support of policy is the environmental guarantee,the improvement of those works in quality is the premise,and the development of modern technology is the practical support.Since the new era,those films and television plays have made a number of helpful explorations to exert their function of ideological and political education.However,limited by intrinsic restrictions of works themselves,media,and audiences,those works still exist many actual dilemmas in the exertion of such function,which specially include: lack of criticism,homogeneous expressions from time to time,and false expressions at time,which weaken such function of those works;fragmented,extensive and one-way communication,which limits the exertion of such function;“adversarial”and “creative” decoding of audiences to those works,which dispels the function.Based on the above dilemmas,the following three aspects should be continuously improved:stick to the concept of realistic creation,improve the originality of scripts,innovate the image expression of those works,so as to enhance their quality;establish aggregation platforms,conduct communication of demassification and community,so as to optimize the effect of communication;supplement explanatory contents for those works,play their role as opinion leaders,carry out criticism activities for them,so as to improve the media literacy of audiences.
