Ethnic culture change and integration is one of the hot issues discussed in academic circles at home and abroad, and one of the major topics of ethnographic and sociological research.Ethnic culture is the sum of material and spiritual wealth produced and created by a certain ethnic group in the common living, which can reflect the characteristics of the ethnic group and the level of its historical development. As the society develops, the ethnic culture of the group will change to adapt to the survival and development of the ethnic group. As a traditional nomadic people, the core of Mongolian culture consists of two parts: steppe culture and religious culture. As the carrier of ethnic culture, the development of ethnic culture not only has a heritage but also reflects the changes in social history. In the western part of Inner Mongolia,on the Koobur plain, there lives a Mongolian ethnic group with a long history of migration. They are different from other Mongolian groups we know, and are called "Mongolian Muslims" by the academic community. The majority of the inhabitants of this area call themselves"Mongolian Haoten","Haoten",etc. With the change of domestic and foreign situation,Society is undergoing a rapid change. This process has a direct impact on the cultural changes and development of Mongolian Muslims;it also shows different characteristics from the cultural development of other Mongolian groups."The study of the cultural changes of Mongolian Muslims is of great academic importance for understanding this unique group. In this paper, the Mongolian Muslims living on the Koobur plain in the Left Banner of Alashan,Inner Mongolia, are selected as the object of study.Taking the daily life of the residents as the entry point, this paper systematically introduces and analyzes the cultural changes and the current situation of the local Mongolian Muslims from the perspective of cultural changes in order to study the characteristics of cultural changes. The main content of this paper includes four chapters, including the introduction and the main body, which are as follows. The first chapter uses historical documents and archival materials to explain and systematically sort out the ethnic origin and historical evolution of Mongolian Muslims living on Koobur plain, and introduces the geographical location, social environment and historical development of the surrounding soums and towns of Koobur plain, and describes the current situation of the group. The second chapter explores the changes in the cultural life of the Mongolian Muslim community in Koobur plain, using the "deep description" method to sort out the changes in the cultural life of the local Mongolian Muslim population. The chapter explains and analyzes the content and function of the culture, and its manifestation and interaction in the cultural changes. The third chapter focuses on the religious practices of Mongolian Muslims, analyzing the current state of their beliefs and,in addition, analyzing the impact of their religious sites and the dilemma of the continuity of their beliefs on inter-ethnic interactions and cultural interactions. The fourth chapter is a summary and outlook of the paper, summarizing the characteristics of the group in terms of cultural integration and change, and exploring the social functions, cultural significance, change patterns and development trends of ethnic culture.
