A Study On Zhu Xi's Reading Of Yu Yin's Respect For Meng Debat

Zhu Xi is a master of the Agency study of the Song Dynasty.He has devoted his life to the study of Mencius and has written a lot of works.Among them,the collection of four books and sentences · the collection of Mencius is Zhu Xi’s peak work in the history of Mencius.However,as a complete and systematic ideological system,Zhu Xi’s Mencius also has different ideological style and interpretation angle in Zhu Xi’s different works.Reading Yu Yin’s respect for Mencius is quite special in Zhu Xi’s works on Meng studies.After reading Yu Yunwen’s Zun Meng Bian in the Southern Song Dynasty,Zhu Xi made it to supplement and revise Yu Yunwen’s theory.In Chinese history,with the upgrading of Mencius’ status in the Song Dynasty,a trend of thought of non Mencius and doubting Mencius rose.In response to the criticism of non Mencius and doubting Mencius,Yu Yunwen defended Mencius by respecting Mencius.On this basis,Zhu Xi also summarized and responded to the thought of doubting Mencius since the Song Dynasty,further consolidating Mencius’ position in Chinese history."Reading Yu Yin’s respect for Mencius and discrimination between Mencius" shows Zhu Xi’s attention to the ideological trend of doubting Mencius in the two Song Dynasties,his interpretation and understanding of Mencius,and Zhu Xi’s deep foundation of Mencius and firm academic position.This paper uses five chapters to discuss the text features,semantic interpretation and historical facts of Zhu Xi’s reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian,as follows:Introduction.Explain the reason for choosing the topic,research status and research methods,and reveal the significance of this research.The first chapter summarizes the academic background of Zhu Xi’s reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian.Starting from the inheritance of Confucian orthodoxy,the promotion movement of respecting Mencius and Mencius since the Tang and Song Dynasties,and the ideological trend of doubting Mencius in the Song Dynasty,this paper tries to make a comprehensive analysis of the " Reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian " in the academic environment of the whole song Dynasty,so as to grasp the era background of Zhu Xi’s " Reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian " as a whole.The second chapter introduces the main characteristics of the version of ReadingYu Yinzhi Zun Meng Bian and the review of Reading Yu Yinzhi Zun Meng Bian.In terms of comment principles,it mainly summarizes three comment principles: the inheritance of Ming Taoism,the appropriateness of measures in time and the heart of saints;In terms of the characteristics of comments,according to the characteristics of doubting Mencius in Sima Guang’s doubting Mencius,Li Gou’s Chang Yu and Zheng Hou’s yi pu zhe zhong,Zhu Xi adopted different methods in refutation,reflecting the comment characteristics of "respect in refutation","refutation but not refutation" and "both refutation",highlighting Zhu Xi’s personalized comment style.The third chapter introduces Zhu Xi’s comments on Yu Yunwen’s "respect Meng Bian" in reading Yu Yinzhi’s respect Meng Bian,including three aspects: first,Yu Yinzhi’s criticism of non Meng people;The second is Zhu Xi’s affirmation and praise of Yu Yinzhi’s respect for Mencius and discrimination in reading Yu Yinzhi’s respect for Mencius and discrimination;The third is Zhu Xi’s criticism of Yu Yinzhi in reading Yu Yinzhi’s respect for Meng Bian,so as to clarify the similarities and differences between Zhu Xi and Yu Yinzhi in Meng’s thought,as well as their comments on non Meng and those who doubt Meng.The fourth chapter discusses the ideological gist of Zhu Xi’s reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian in detail.This chapter is the key chapter of this paper.It is mainly divided into four aspects: the view of Wang Ba,the view of monarchs and officials,the view of economic power and the view of human nature in reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian.This paper discusses the view of Wang BA in "reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian" from "Wang Ba is no different","Wang BA’s heterogeneous theory" and "the innovation of Wang Ba thought in reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian".By comparing the two kinds of Wang Ba thoughts formed by the skeptical Meng school represented by Li Gou and Sima Guang and the respect for Meng school represented by Zhu Xi and Yu Yin Zhi,this paper reveals the special political and academic environment of the Song Dynasty,Highlight Zhu Xi’s breakthrough and innovation in Wang BA’s thought in reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian.This paper reveals Zhu Xi’s thought of monarchs and officials in reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian from three angles: the way of being a minister and the way of being a king,the relativity and absoluteness of the relationship between monarchs and officials,and the extreme situation in the relationship between monarchs and officials.This paper discusses the view of Confucian authority in reading Yu Yin’s respect for Mencius and discrimination from the three aspects of "Tao through Confucian authority","exercising authority according to time" and "sage exercising authority",and further interprets Zhu Xi’s Confucian authority thought embodied in it.From the formation of the thought of "the nature of destiny" and "the nature of temperament" and the thinking of human nature in reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian,this paper discusses the view of human nature in reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian,and reveals the development context of Zhu Xi’s Theory of human nature from this side.The fifth chapter discusses the interpretation of historical events in reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian.Mencius involves many historical events.Zhu Xi’s reading Yu Yin’s respect for Mencius and discrimination against Mencius has made relevant explanations for several controversial typical events.This paper mainly analyzes Zhu Xi’s explanations of "blood flowing and pestling","death and elephant killing Shun" and "testing Qi and cutting Yan".In a word,this paper mainly studies the text characteristics,interpretation of righteousness and theory and interpretation of historical facts of Zhu Xi’s reading Yu Yin’s respect for Meng Bian.Because Zhu Xi’s "reading Yu Yin’s respect for Mencius " is made to refute the views of non Mencius and revise and supplement Yu Yunwen’s views,due to the limitation of subject matter and length,although Zhu Xi’s Mencius thought system can not be fully displayed,the study of Zhu Xi’s "reading Yu Yin’s respect for Mencius " can let us understand Zhu Xi’s Mencius thought from Zhu Xi’s Refutation of non Mencius,and then fully grasp the ideological characteristics of doubting Mencius and respecting Mencius in the two Song dynasties.
