A Comparative Study Of Mao Zedong And Xi Jinping’s Views On Traditional Culture

Traditional Chinese culture is the precious historical wealth of the Chinese nation,and it has always been a powerful spiritual force driving the development of the Chinese nation.For one hundred years,generations of Chinese Communists have insisted on inheriting and promoting the excellent traditional Chinese culture,promoting the organic combination of the basic principles of Marxism and the excellent traditional Chinese culture,They have written magnificent chapters,demonstrated the unique and excellent character of traditional Chinese culture,and formed Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping’s views on traditional culture.Mao Zedong’s traditional cultural view has set an excellent example of inheriting and promoting Chinese traditional culture,and opened a historical precedent for promoting the Sinicization of Marxism;Xi Jinping’s view of traditional culture looks at China’s excellent traditional culture from a new strategic perspective,and has raised the inheritance and promotion of excellent traditional culture to a new height.Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping were leaders at different times.Studying and expounding their traditional cultural views and in-depth analysis of their similarities and differences in various dimensions will help to better understand the ideological connotations of the two leaders and clarify the Chinese Communists Knowledge and understanding of traditional culture,and then promote the inheritance and promotion of excellent traditional culture in the new era.This paper is developed from the following five aspects:Chapter One Introduction.Firstly,it expounds the research background,purpose and significance of the topic;secondly,it discusses the research status,thinking,difficulties and innovation points of the topic;finally,it defines the relevant concepts.This is the logical starting point for the research of this thesis.The second chapter is Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping’s understanding of the essence of traditional culture.Based on the concept definition in Chapter 1,this chapter sorts out Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping’s understanding of the essence of traditional culture,and compares and analyzes the two from two aspects: similarities and differences.From this,it can be concluded that,on the one hand,both Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping saw the national character and inclusiveness of traditional culture,and both had a high degree of sober historical consciousness;on the other hand,Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping’s understanding of the essence of traditional culture was different.The third chapter is Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping’s understanding of traditional cultural value.This chapter is based on the definition of the previous concepts,discusses in detail the understanding of Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping on the value of traditional culture,and conducts a comparative study of the two,thus it is concluded that both Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping attach great importance to the value of excellent traditional culture.Due to the different backgrounds of the times,the two leaders also have different emphases in their understanding of traditional cultural values.The fourth chapter discusses the attitudes and methods of Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping towards traditional culture.Based on the definition of concepts,this chapter sorts out the attitudes and methods of Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping towards traditional culture from three aspects.At the same time,a comprehensive comparison of the two shows that both Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping have always held high the great banner of Marxism and insisted on criticizing the inherited innovation and development,but they have differences in their corresponding emphases.The fifth chapter discusses the era significance of comparing Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping’s traditional cultural views.This chapter is the last chapter of the thesis.It sorts out the significance of the era of the comparison between Mao Zedong and Xi Jinping’s traditional cultural views from both theoretical and practical levels,and then gives better inspiration and guidance to contemporary people.
