At present,the focus of animation creation and dissemination process gradually shifts to audience demand,and audience demand becomes the premise of creation.Underage,mass animation role is easy to trigger the audience’s aesthetic fatigue,the market needs more relatively independent,novel,special role modeling to attract the audience so that the role modeling to achieve the visual entertainment effect.Second,the audience is the embodiment of the value of animation and is the basis of the existence of the animation industry.Among them,character design is the key link of animation creation.The creation of animation-related derivative products needs to take the character image in animation as the source of inspiration.Only after the audience’s aesthetic acceptance of the baptism,the artwork can fully display its aesthetic value.3D animation film as a special art form,in the twenty-first century,has entered a period of diversified development and competition.3D animation film in the form of rich change,strong texture characteristics,in the content of the animation art to expand the creation of space and way,to convey social and cultural values to provide This helps audiences to develop a good aesthetic and cultural psychology.Similarly,a good social and cultural psychology can also promote the technical,artistic and ideological progress of our 3D animation films.Therefore,it is very important to conduct systematic and in-depth research and analysis of the audience.Thus,in order to create quality 3D animation characters,it is urgent to study the emotional design of audience psychological needs.Secondly,the overall structure of the thesis starts from the influence of audience psychological transformation on 3D animation character design,analyzes the audience’s emotional needs at instinctive level,behavioral level and reflective level,clarifies the transformation phenomenon of audience’s sensory needs,aesthetic needs and spiritual needs,so as to achieve a basic understanding of the transformation tendency of audience psychology.Then,against the background of the imperfect theoretical system at home and abroad for the research of emotional design of 3D animation characters with audience psychological transformation as the entry point,through the analysis of a large number of classic cases,the two major factors influencing audience psychology are listed,and the relevant theories are systematically conducted from the character design level to the root level of animation communication methods,animation production technology,and aesthetic cultural psychology.The theories are systematically organized and improved.Through the study of character design,characterization,and performance in a large number of classic animation works,the emotional connection between them and character design is analyzed from three aspects: characterization,script set,and national cultural background.The reasons for the influence of audience psychology on animation character design are studied using the methods of enumeration,analysis,and comparison,and how the emotional elements in animation design affect the audience psychology are explained.Finally,the current problems in 3D animation character design are analyzed,and design strategies are proposed from the three aspects of audience’s sensory needs,aesthetic needs and spiritual needs,calling on animation creators to enrich character types,set plots flexibly,explore new folk culture in the creation process,and combine localized and internationalized cultural elements.At the same time,they insist on all-age audience orientation,promote universal values,add emotional elements to infect audiences in the design process,and shape high-quality 3D animation characters that can truly meet the needs of animation audiences and focus on audience-centeredness.
