| Next-generation games represent the latest technology and highest quality in the game industry,and its most notable features are the reproduction of three-dimensional attributes and realism.With the vigorous development and fierce competition of the game industry,game character design has become one of the important factors in the game industry competition.The game embeds excellent cultural symbols into its virtual scenes,which also contributes to cultural inheritance.The unique modeling language that integrates freehand and realism in the statue art of the Tang Dynasty provides a multi-view reference for the three-dimensional nextgeneration game characters.However,at present,there are not many successful cases of Chinese games that draw on traditional statue art,and there is a lack of relevant theoretical research.Therefore,how to revitalize the excellent traditional Chinese statue art and apply it to the next-generation game characters in a sustainable manner,so as to drive the audience to actively explore traditional culture,has become an important issue in the game art industry.First,the theoretical basis and style status of next-generation games and characters are discussed.Through the comparative study and questionnaire survey of game character design styles formed under different cultural backgrounds of South Korea,the United States,and China,it is concluded that there are problems such as stylization of modeling characteristics and cultural chaos of "bringing" in Chinese 3D game characters.Secondly,it analyzes the rationality of the next-generation game characters borrowing from the Tang Dynasty statue art.A comparative study of the relationship between Chinese and Western sculpture and painting is carried out,and the achievements and characteristics of the Tang Dynasty statue art are summarized.Thirdly,in view of the existing problems in the design of domestic three-dimensional game characters,it is analyzed from the three aspects of Tang Dynasty statue shape,formal characteristics and color.To sort out and summarize the different aspects of the statues of different themes,such as the faces,postures,and clothing shapes,to solve the problem of the cultural chaos of Chinese game characters "bringing in".The painting quality of "Knife and Brush",the modeling tension of "movement and stillness",the plump volume of "enrichment is beauty",the simplified outline of "imageization",the imagery of "ethical appearance" and the decorative quality of "simultaneous development of shape and color" It aims to provide a new solution to the stylization of Chinese three-dimensional character modeling characteristics.Finally,starting from the ideas and processes of game character production,it summarizes the innovative path of Tang Dynasty statue art in the design of next-generation game characters.The link of statue elements should be based on the game world view and character setting,pay attention to the difference processing under the addition and upgrade of characters,the feature extraction and breakthrough of the character prototype,and the optimization of character details based on the statue.Taking the unlimited creation of character image matrix method proposed by Japan’s Tsukamoto Hiroyoshi as the basic framework,from the three dimensions of system function,formal aesthetics,and social psychology,it is discussed that the matrix fusion should follow the game mechanism and character movement,the proportion of form and the rhythm of clothing,and the light effect.Reaction and Stereotype-Influenced Character Creation Requirements.Aiming at the existing problems of next-generation games,this paper conducts a comprehensive analysis of the shape and characteristics of the statue art in the Tang Dynasty,seeks an organic link between the integration of three-dimensional game characters and statue art,and provides a reference for the formation of the localized design language of my country’s next-generation game characters,so that the public can appreciate our country.Traditional culture has a more profound perception. |
