Research On Ancient Chinese Art Songs In Ying Shangneng Song Anthology

Ying Shangneng is a famous singer,composer and music educator in modern China.As the first generation of musicians who returned from the United States,Ying Shangneng was the symbol of the first-class standard in the domestic vocal music industry at that time.His music creation and music education activities were mainly carried out around vocal music.Ying Shangneng created about 160 vocal works in his life,including children’s songs,national salvation songs,art songs and other types.Ancient poetry art songs are also a group type with a certain weight in his creation.In the past,the research on Ying Shangneng’s song works mainly focused on well-known individual works,and there was no group type researcher.In the research of other music creation,the discussion on the types of Ying Shangneng’s ancient poetry and art songs is also rare.This paper takes the eight ancient poems and artistic songs of yingshangneng song anthology compiled by China Conservatory of music in 1989 as the research object,takes yingshangneng’s own music literary theory as the theoretical support,creatively combines the relevant theories of yingshangneng’s literary and artistic concepts that have not been paid more attention by predecessors,and explores the characteristics and creative ideas of this type of works from two aspects of word selection and composition,Explore the relationship between these works and their personal literary and artistic ideas,and then explore the era significance of Ying Shangneng’s works of this type.This paper is mainly divided into five parts,of which the introduction is the general part,the first chapter is the introduction of the research object,the second and third chapters are the main research parts of this paper,and the fourth chapter is the discussion of the era significance of the research object.The introduction summarizes the basis,research status,research significance and innovation of this paper;The first chapter summarizes the creation of Shangneng’s ancient poetry and art songs,reviews the creation experience of Ying Shangneng’s works of this type,discusses the representative status of Ying Shangneng’s selected songs and its eight ancient poetry and art songs,and analyzes the creation background of the eight works at the same time;The second chapter analyzes the word selection of the eight works,combs the genre,Dynasty,author and content characteristics of the word selection,explores the implied personal cultural pursuit and the voice of the times,and discriminates its correspondence with the national concept in the music view of "new national music";The third chapter analyzes the composing ideas of the eight works,explores the ingenious integration of Chinese poetry format and western music structure in the works,understands the musical interpretation of the melody of the works to the Chinese language,analyzes the echo lyric and situational association between the piano accompaniment and the melody part,and explores the adaptability of the composing idea of Ying Shangneng to its cultural view of "freehand brushwork and vivid expression";The fourth chapter summarizes the contemporary significance of Shangneng’s ancient poetry and art songs,expounds the positive role of this type of works in the ideal of "establishing a national vocal music school",and discusses the contribution of these works to the inheritance and development of Chinese traditional music culture.In fact,the creative concept of Ying Shangneng presented in the selection of words and composition of the eight ancient poems and art songs in the selected works of Ying Shangneng songs is the blending embodiment of Ying Shangneng’s aesthetic pursuit of literature and art,singing deductive thinking and national cultural emotion.His preference for Chinese traditional music culture,bold and cheerful poetry style and Chinese art style in word selection is the embodiment of his literary and artistic aesthetic pursuit.In composition,the careful consideration of whether the sentence sound and poetry emotion in the song are accurately presented and expressed is the embodiment of his singing and deductive thinking,The pursuit of the national connotation and expression of the times of Chinese music,which is always shown in both word selection and composition,is the embodiment of his national cultural emotion.Ying Shangneng’s ancient poetry and art songs symbolize Ying Shangneng’s pursuit of Chinese new music and reflect his expectation for the future development of Chinese music.Ying Shangneng’s trust and love for Chinese music is an embodiment of his patriotic feelings.
