Extension Of Boundary—The Application Of Sound Element In The Works Of Nelo Akamatsu And Zimoun

In the field of contemporary art,sound has gradually become an important element-artists also try to integrate sound elements into sculpture and installation art.Taking Nelo Akamatsu and Zimoun as examples,this paper analyzes the intervention methods and characteristics of sound elements in their works,and discusses the possibility of sound elements in their works combined with practice.In the works of Nelo Akamatsu and Zimoun,the audience is placed in the boundary of sound and listens to the works with sensory experience beyond their habits.They show the common materials in daily life in different forms in front of the audience,use simple motion devices to make different materials sound,and use the combination of audio-visual effects to create a unique boundary,so that the audience’s senses can be extended,produce special feelings,and make the audience resonate emotionally.Therefore,starting from the creative process of the two artists,combined with the representative works of the two artists,the author will analyze their formal language and the sensory feeling brought by sound to explore the boundary extension brought by the intervention of sound elements.
