With the rapid advancement of China’s economy, the demand for Chinese talents has been increasing in Korea, attracting more and more Koreans start to learn Chinese. However, with the increasing number of Chinese learner, the standardization of pronunciation has become a problem during the teaching process.Even the high level Chinese learners cannot escape from the lack of idiomatic Chinese pronunciation. As for the reasons behind such problems, the phonetic is the root cause. The pronunciation of vowels,in particular, will influence the pronunciation quality directly. If the articulation of vowels can be handled well, more learners’ pronounce accuracy can be improved.Based on the comparative analysis theory,a comparative analysis of Chinese and Korean vowels is conducted by Praat sinicized software, the difficulties of Chinese vowel acquisition of Korean learners are predicted, the Chinese vowel corpus of 11 Korean learners are analyzed through acoustic experiments, and their vowel V value and formant peak are compared with the data of Chinese speakers,it can be found that Korean learners’ acquisition of a 、 i 、 y in Chinese monophthong is relatively optimistic, acquisition of o and (?) isn’t optimistic. In the diphthongs, the those with the largest number of errors are (?) i.üe and i(?)o,errors existing in (?)i and i(?)o are mainly reflected in the tail vowels i and o with the generally higher tongue position.Errors existing in üe are mainly reflected in the essential vowel e with the generally more anterior tongue position. In this thesis, based on the aspects of negative transfer of mother tongue, generalization of target language rules, teaching factors and the influence of Chinese Pinyin scheme, the error law of Korean learners’ acquisition of Chinese vowels is discussed. Finally, based on the results of experimental analysis, targeted teaching suggestions and strategies are put forward for Korean learners’ acquisition of Chinese vowels.
