| As a classic work of traditional Chinese statues,the colored sculptures of the Iron Buddha Temple in Gaoping,Shanxi have retained a large number of modeling languages that can be studied in fine arts.The Sakyamuni Huaxumi pedestal in the Iron Buddha Temple is an important part of the colored statues of the Iron Buddha Temple.It has a very close relationship with art disciplines such as fine arts and religious art in terms of technical characteristics and aesthetic interest.For example,the modeling method of the Xumizuo’s shape and structure and the expression of ornamentation can all find the same modeling language in fine arts.Through field investigation of Tiefo Temple in Gaoping,Shanxi Province,this paper conducts in-depth research on the shape of the Tiefo Temple colored sculpture Sumeru pedestal,through field measurement and drawing of the front and side dimensions of the Tiefo Temple colored sculpture Sumeru pedestal,and accurately organizes and analyzes its shape,and points out that its structure consists of the top Fang,Shangxiao,waistband,Xiaxiao,Xiafang and Guijiao are composed of six parts.The structure of the Xumizuo is also covered with a variety of patterns,including the tangled peony pattern,the bowl flower knot pattern,the support seat,the cloud pattern,the Hui pattern and other plants,figures and geometric patterns.There are also painted murals on both sides of the waist of the Xumizuo..These decorations not only combine a variety of different expression techniques,but also have special connotations,reflecting the artistic characteristics of an era.Secondly,from the perspective of art majors,it analyzes the expression method of the colored sculpture of the Tiefo Temple Xumizuo,and studies its modeling rules from the integration of sculpture and painting,spatial expression,and the compositional relationship with the upper Buddha statue.Then,by comparing the shape of the colored sculpture of Xumizuo in Tiefo Temple with the color sculpture of Xumizuo in other areas of Shanxi,the uniqueness of the colored sculpture of Xumizuo in Tiefo Temple is compared,which confirms the historical dating of Xumizuo in Tiefo Temple and fully reflects its artistic style.Finally,from the perspective of fine arts,find the basic law and aesthetic value of its plastic art creation. |
