| Ancient books are a significant type of cultural relic.They record history in writing and are critical historical materials for history study.To strengthen the protection of cultural relics and promote traditional culture to the public,libraries,archives,museums,and other ancient collection research institutions across the country have been publicly exhibiting ancient books since the 1920 s.In the past two decades,research institutions of ancient books have explored innovative exhibitions formats to promote the collection of ancient books of our nation.This paper studies the ancient book exhibition from the historical evolution,thematic design,selection,display method,and the exploration of digital exhibition methods.This paper analyzes the ancient book exhibitions in the libraries of China’s mainland,China’s Taiwan,and Britain.The paper concludes with my insights toward the ancient books exhibition and my suggestions for the future development of ancient book exhibitions. |
