Great changes are taking place in classroom teaching of English writing in Chinese middle schools whose educational system is witnessing an ever lasting development.In such a background some suggestions have been put forward by teachers that are concerned with students’ English learning,particularly writing competence,writing proficiency,writing initiative,writing methods or writing strategies.Carrying out a successful transition job of English writing teaching from the junior middle school to the senior middle school has become a hot topic for English teachers.It is also a key factor that influences students’ writing competence and cognition.The research will explore and analyze teaching problems of English writing connection in Zhenyuan No.1 middle school,put forward the hidden problems in the teaching process by understanding the actual situation of teaching,and apply the methods of data analysis and demonstration to understand relevant problems,so as to put forward suggestions that meet the needs of problem-solving.It is found that in the process of comparing the experimental class with the control class,the writing ability of the experimental class is basically the same as that of the control class in the pre-test stage,but there are great differences in the post-test stage.This shows that after systematic teaching,teachers apply brand-new teaching concepts and methods to effectively solve the problem of connecting English Writing Teaching from junior to senior high schools,improve students’ learning ability and writing literacy,helping them establish a writing awareness and brain storming in English.
