Research On The Creation Method Of Group Image Documentary

In recent years,the documentary market has developed rapidly and a large number of excellent documentary works have emerged,among which group documentaries,as a kind of character documentary,are more and more favoured by creators and audiences.This kind of documentary has been in the process of development for a long time,the creation method has been constantly updated and iterated,and more and more new forms have appeared.Especially under the impact of new media nowadays,the quality of documentaries has also appeared.Therefore,this thesis discusses the creation methods of group documentaries by combining excellent group documentary works and the author’s personal creative practice.First,from the development history of group documentaries,we summarize the connotation of the concept of group documentaries,analyze their general characteristics,and conclude the current situation of group documentary creation: first,focusing on the expression of the theme at the macro level;second,focusing on the overall expression of the group’s audio-visual techniques;third,the common use of grand narrative techniques.Secondly,this thesis takes the general creation method of documentaries as the theoretical basis,combines the characteristics of group documentaries and the current creation status,and summarises the general creation rules of group documentaries: Firstly,group documentaries should refine the grand themes and integrate the macro themes into the individual ideals to avoid the themes being expressed superficially and detached from reality,so that the audience cannot resonate with them;Secondly,group documentaries In shaping the image of the group,attention should be paid to the use of audio-visual techniques,and strive to comprehensively show the overall characteristics of the group and individual specificity,portraying the three-dimensional characteristics of the group.3,the narrative of the group documentary is the focus of its creation is also a difficult point,very easy to cause confusion of narrative clues,in the process of creation can use the processing of narrative structure,narrative persona,narrative time and space,to build a clear and complete narrative pulse.In conclusion,through the exploration and analysis of outstanding works of group documentaries,academic theories and creative practices,this thesis summarises the general methods of group documentary creation,and provides reference and reference for future group documentary creation practices.
