Analysis Of The Artistic Characteristics And Singing Of Art Song "Eulogy"

The art song "Eulogy" was composed by composer Zhang Rui based on the translation of Xu Zhimo’s poem of the same name.The original author of the poem is the modern British poet Matthew Arnold.The song was published in Baihua Literature and Art Publishing House in "Snowflake’s Happiness-Zhang Rui’s Art Song Collection".Once published,it was widely acclaimed and appreciated and studied by many singers.This paper analyzes the work from three aspects.The first is the summary of the song "Eulogy",which summarizes the song "Eulogy" from the songwriter and its creative background;The specific analysis is to sort out from the poetry language,musical-structure,music melody,and accompaniment texture;finally,combined with my own singing experience,I will use the breath,articulation and rhyme,emotional expression and stage performance of the song "Ode to the Word" when singing.Make a summary.Through the research on the artistic characteristics and singing analysis of this work,while improving my own artistic accomplishment and singing level,it also provides some help and reference for colleagues who love this work.
