In recent years,with the Party’s attention to the cultivation of young people’s ideology and morality,colleges and universities have also actively carried out the exploration and practice of curriculum ideological and political construction,and causes the practice and exploration of the curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness in various colleges and universities.The core competencies of senior high school English requires cultivating students’ cultural consciousness,so as to cultivate people with civilized quality and social responsibility,which also shows the curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness has a certain applicability in senior high school English teaching.However,under the affection of the examination-oriented education,teachers generally did not care about the ideological and political education of students or simply lead and blunt indoctrination in teaching.Consequently,the research tries to use multiliteracies pedagogy in English classroom teaching,integrate the ideological and political elements into the teaching process reasonably,and show the design and analysis of the real classroom teaching cases to verify the effectiveness and discuss its enlightenment to high school English teaching.To achieve the above objectives,this study specifically explores the following three questions:(1)What is the current curriculum-based political and various awareness construction situation in senior high school English teaching?(2)How to integrate political and various awareness into the English classroom based on multiliteracies pedagogy?(3)How is the effect of curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness based on multiliteracies pedagogy? To deal with the problems,we first use the method of questionnaire and the interview to survey the current curriculum ideological and political practice in senior high school English teaching.Then show the specific classroom teaching cases and analysis of the practical under teaching mode of multiliteracies pedagogy,and carry out the teaching practice in the experimental class and the control class for one semester.Next,the listening status was analyzed according to the head frequency of the experimental class and the control class,and the average scores of the two classes in the two tests were analyzed by independent sample T-test.Finally,through the student interview to understand the students’ harvest in the life concept,so as to test the effectiveness of the mode.The findings suggest that:(1)There are deficiencies in the current development of high school students’ values.In senior high schools,the status is not ideal,and most teachers do not know much about ideological and political education.(2)Moral problems should be contextualized in situated practice to arouse students’ emotional identification and investment in high school English teaching.In the stages of overt instruction and the stage of critical framing,teachers should make students make value judgment on the basis of value understanding,and finally make students consciously practice the positive values in transformed practice.(3)The teaching experiment shows that the teaching mode of multiliteracies pedagogy has a certain effect on the ideological and political practice in high school English teaching.The students’ academic performance has improved and they gain more positive values.Combined with the study results,we give two inspirations for practical curriculum-based political and virtuous awareness in high school English teaching: First,the teachers should reasonably excavate the ideological and political elements in the teaching materials on the basis of improving their own ideological and political literacy.Second,they can choose the appropriate method to integrate the ideological and political elements.Although the study has some limitations,it provides detailed operation methods for high school teachers to practice ideological and political courses through the teaching mode of multiliteracies pedagogy,and enriches the relevant theories of curriculum ideological and political practice path.
