Musical Characteristics And Performance Analysis Of The National Percussion Concerto "Daqu

"Da Qu" was composed by the composer Mr.Zhou Long in 1991.It is a representa tive piece of ethnic percussion music and plays an important role in the development of ethnic percussion music.In order to study the "Daqu" so that the performers can be tter understand the stylistic characteristics of this kind of ethnic percussion concerto w orks,this paper discusses the three aspects of "Daqu" ’s creative background,musical ch aracteristics and performance analysis.The first part of this thesis is the introduction of the composer Zhou Long and the background of the creation of Daqu.It also introduces the source of inspiration and the structure of the works that the composer Mr.Zhou Long created the piece for,and sum marizes the background of the creation of "Da Qu".The second part is about the musica l characteristics of "Daqu",which further understands the musical characteristics of "Da qu" from three aspects: the composition of the basic sounds in the music,part of the rhy thm analysis and the structure of the music.The third part analyzes the various difficulti es of hammer technique,rhythm and performance skills in the three paragraphs of "Daq u",so that percussion learners can better understand and master "Daqu".
