2019 is the 70 th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.Many aspects of Chinese piano works,such as subject matter,musical language,etc.,have developed to varying degrees during these 70 years.The musicians have inherited the "character" of Xiao Youmei and Zhao Yuanren,and their will to pursue the nationalization of Chinese piano works has never changed.Nationalization,as the soul of Chinese piano,has different manifestations and characteristics in the subject matter and musical language of different historical periods.Therefore,this paper will take nationalization as a clue,take the horizontal social environment and vertical characteristics of the times as the context of writing,and focus on the external themes and internal musical language of musical works.The national characteristics expressed by the language are further analyzed.It is hoped that the theme of different periods and the characteristics of the times and the characteristics of nationalized creation can be grasped as a whole,and the achievements and deficiencies of piano works at that time can be objectively discussed.The time discussed in this paper is from 1949 to 2019,which can be divided into three stages of historical development based on time: the first stage is from 1949 to1966,the seventeen years of unprecedented prosperity of piano creation in the early days of the founding of the People’s Republic of China.In order to enable more people to accept piano music,the themes of piano works have regional and mass characteristics.The melody tends to be folk materials without using too complicated musical language.for the melody.The second stage,from 1967 to 1977,was a ten-year Cultural Revolution.Although only model operas,revolutionary songs and traditional instrumental music can only be adapted for piano in terms of themes,it has prompted the composer to conduct in-depth excavation in the musical language,and explored folk music forms,traditional sound textures,and nationalization.The perfect use of harmony in the piano.The third stage is from 1978 to 2019,a period of diversified development.Various modern music genres in the West have influenced the creation of Chinese piano music.Composers have different degrees of use and modernization of ethnic materials,forming different ways of dealing with ethnic themes.Non-traditional tonality and dissonant sound effects are the two major features of the musical language at this stage.Nationalization and modernization have carried out multiple explorations in Chinese piano works,with remarkable achievements.
