The light lyric soprano is a more common soprano voice in Western comic opera, also known as"trumpet lyric soprano".With a smooth and flexible voice, lyrical, light and beautiful appearance, young and sensitive are the vocal characteristics of a light lyric soprano. For vocal learners,it is essential to choose vocal works suitable for them.In the mid-term and graduation recital, the author selected representative light lyric soprano vocal parts from comic opera and conducted a multi-dimensional study of characterization, aria singing and stage performance. This essay analyzes and studies this topic by analyzing the characterization and singing of four light lyric sopranos:"Susanna" in Le Nozze di Figaro,"Zerlina" in Don Giovanni,"Serpina" in La Serva Padrona, and "Despina" in Cosi fan Tutte. The main text is divided into four chapters.Chapter 1 is a brief description of comic opera and the development of the soprano voice and briefly introduces the vocal characteristics of the light lyric soprano. The third chapter is an analysis of the arias of the light lyric soprano role selected for the concert;the fourth chapter combines the author’s personal experience as a basis for the analysis of the light lyric soprano role, which provides a reference for the analysis of other roles and a prospect for research.
