Acoustic Analysis Of Stress In Mongolian Declarative Sentence

In this paper,pronunciation corpus(20speakers,15 text 5sentences,5repetitions)were used to carry out acoustic and listening experiments to explore the statistical significance of acoustic expression of pronunciation stress and the characteristics of sentence stress.Then,the interaction between acoustic parameters and perceptual characteristics of sentence stress is investigated.This paper consists of four parts: introduction,acoustic analysis of declarative sentence stress,listening experiment and summary.The introduction mainly introduces the total number of sentence stress studies in Chinese and Mongolian,the corpus design of this study,the establishment of database and other research preparation stages.In the second part,three parameters of pitch,intensity and duration are statistically analyzed,and the stability of three acoustic expressions of declarative sentence stress is investigated from three dimensions: sex,individual difference and pronunciation level.It is found that the pitch of Mongolian declarative sentences composed of five syntactic structures has a stable LHL pattern;Secondly,the maximum values of pitch,intensity and length in sentences basically fall on the newly added components of sentences,which is not affected by individual differences,gender and pronunciation level of speakers(except the intensity of individual sentence patterns).The forth part conducts listening experiments on the experimental sentences with five syntactic structures,and the results are completely consistent with the positions where the maximum values of pitch and duration appear in the sentences.Based on the above findings,this study suggests that the stress of Mongolian declarative sentences is closely related to the syntactic structure of sentences,and sentence stress usually falls on the new components of sentences.Secondly,pitch and duration are the most critical acoustic related objects of sentence stress.Specifically,the position of the maximum pitch and the longest duration in the sentence are consistent with each other.Moreover,the position where they appear in the same way is perceived as stress.Finally,when perceiving declarative sentence stress,listeners usually judge the position of sentence stress according to the maximum pitch and the maximum duration in the sentence.
