Due to the acceleration of the pace of modern life and the more and more miscellaneous information brought by the Internet,people’s focus is weakened in study and work.How can we allocate limited attention to unlimited information?This leads to the importance of studying immersive experience.With the rapid development of digital technology and the advent of the era of experience economy,the form of passive visit in traditional installation art can no longer meet the needs of the public.The public prefer works with strong sense of experience and interaction.The immersive experience design in installation art can be supported by digital technologies such as virtual reality and holographic image,mobilize the interactivity and telepresence of the viewer,and make the audience have an immersive experience.It can let the audience experience the whole artistic expression of the creator as if they were on the spot.Therefore,it can bring emotional resonance to the audience,transition from experience to reflection,and reflect on themselves and the relationship between themselves and society and nature.Based on the psychological center flow theory,this paper analyzes the context and conditions of immersive experience in installation art,combined with the questionnaire survey to analyze the psychological needs of the audience,focuses on meeting the spiritual and experience needs of the audience,summarizes the design principles and methods of immersive experience design in installation art,and focuses on how to externalize in form in installation art space,The internalization method creates a double immersive experience of body and mind for the audience,brings social influence and improves the overall artistic quality of installation art works.
