Research On The Long Drum Dance Of Pan Yao In Congjiang County Of Guizhou Province

A living cultural product that is still well preserved in the Yao villages of Cuili Township,Congjiang County,Guizhou Province-the Pan Yao Long Drum Dance.It is the presentation of the historical and cultural forms of Pan Yao,and it is the people’s appeal and expression for the spirit.Nowadays,it plays a vital role in rituals,ceremonies or the cultural life of the people.Combined with the author’s field research,the study is centered on the "long drum dance",and the perspective is placed in the context of the living environment,mythological origin and cultural tracing.The author has gained an independent understanding and insight into the ontological and cultural forms of dance,including movement types,dance categories,and body language and formal elements.we also considers how the cultural expressions,functions and values of dance have changed in the current situation of living culture,and gives a certain analysis and interpretation.In order to better pass on the culture of long-drum dance and play its artistic role in the spiritual civilization level of society.The thesis consists of four major parts respectively:The first part,the introduction,mainly clarifies the reason for choosing the topic of this paper,the current status of research related to this paper,and the research method and significance.The first chapter summarizes the mythological origin and historical context of the long-drum dance,and explores the origin and formation of the long-drum dance by using the cultural environment of Cui Li Township in Conjiang,Guizhou.The second chapter uses dance ecology,dance feature extraction and oral history to analyze the cultural form of the long drum dance in detail,from basic dynamics to classical dance categories and then to expressions.The interpretation of the body language and the expression of formal elements are progressively deepened.The third chapter explores the cultural changes of the long-drum dance in different fields and thus analyzes the transformation and extension of its ontological cultural functions and values.
