Chi Zijian is an active writer in the contemporary literary world.He has been writing for decades and left impressive works for readers.The "warm narration" in Chi Zijian’s novels is always mentioned by many researchers,but behind this warm narration,Chi Zijian’s novels also contain many stories about crime,gradually forming a novel series of "crime and redemption".Chi Zijian focuses on the creative motif of "sin" and "Redemption",reveals the essence of life,reflects on the living state of mankind,and guides mankind to develop in the direction of perfect and beautiful human nature.However,at present,the academic research on the theme of Chi Zijian’s crime and redemption mainly focuses on redemption,and most researchers analyze the consciousness of atonement in the works from a single novel,and there is a lack of comprehensive research on the theme of crime and redemption.If you want to make a systematic study of the theme of crime and redemption,you need to start from the cultural background and conduct a comprehensive study in combination with the whole novel series,then get the depth of Chi Zijian’s writing on the theme of crime and redemption,and clarify the author’s creative thought and writing purpose.In view of this,this paper uses the method of close reading of the text to grasp the value and significance of Chi Zijian’s writing on the theme of crime and redemption by combing the evil factors and the consciousness of atonement in Chi Zijian’s novels.This paper mainly consists of three parts: introduction,body and conclusion.The introduction mainly introduces the research status of the theme of crime and redemption in Chi Zijian’s novels,and expounds the value of this paper.The text is mainly divided into four parts.The first part mainly analyzes the influence of Confucian culture,Jewish Christian culture and Shamanism culture on Chi Zijian’s crime and redemption theme from the ideological and cultural background.The second part mainly goes deep into the field of "crime",divides the types of crime in Chi Zijian’s novels,and analyzes the root causes of crime.The third part mainly grasps the atonement consciousness in the novel from the way of redemption,the value and significance of redemption and the limitations of redemption.The fourth part mainly analyzes the theme value writing of Chi Zijian’s "crime" and "Redemption",reflects Chi Zijian’s reflection on modern society from the variation of social environment and the writing of human survival dilemma,reflects the author’s pursuit of goodness and beauty of human nature from his attitude towards villains and the writing of goodness of human nature,and highlights the main spirit of the author’s writing.At the same time,it makes a comparison between Chi Zijian and other contemporary writers who are good at writing about sin and redemption,so as to highlight the uniqueness of Chi Zijian’s writing.The conclusion part combs and summarizes the crime and redemption of this paper,and points out the significance of Chi Zijian’s reflection on reality and the praise of human nature’s good and upward thought in today’s society.
