A Literary Practice That Blends Folk And Politics

The problem of popularization is a core topic faced by modern Chinese literature since its emergence.A large number of modern literary writers have explored the populaity of literature in theoretical construction and literary creation,making a unique contribution to the popularity of Modern Chinese literature.Zhao Shuli is a model writer of popular creation among Chinese modern writers,especially after the establishment of“ Zhao Shuli direction ”,his popular creation has a great influence on modern literature and even contemporary literature.At present,there are many papers focusing on Zhao Shuli’s popular creation concept,but most of them are discussing his popular creation which has been mature in his later period.However,there are relatively few achievements on how Zhao Shuli’s popular creation concept is formed.The concept of creation is relatively complex,which is influenced by the writer’s idea development,life experience,and even the environment of The Times,and is the result of the comprehensive influence of various factors.This paper mainly discusses the formation process of Zhao Shuli’s popular creation concept in the range of folk and politics,and then considers how the folk entered Zhao Shuli’s spiritual world and how politics participated in Zhao Shuli’s creation.In this process,Zhao shuli was based on folk itself,with folk language of the masses to depict various characters,according to the way they used to,will they placed under the environment of that time,his people’s psychological activity,the life needs,the behavior way,at the same time with the folk crowd favorite art form to promote policy,convey political,enlightenment,with the power of literature,the folk was incorporated into the construction of a modern nation state,and finally formed its own unique popular creation idea.The main body of this article is divided into four chapters,which is the main body of the article.The first chapter,Zhao Shuli’s early popular creation idea groping(1929-1933).This chapter focuses on the analysis of the reason why Zhao Shuli pays attent ion to the masses,which is also the basis for the formation of his popular creation concept,and analyzes the creation characteristics of Zhao Shuli in this period through his works.Chapter two,the initial formation of Zhao Shuli’s popular creation concept before the total Anti-Japanese War(1934-1936).This chapter discusses the influence of the turbulent domestic environment,the th ird literary discussion on the popularization,and the twists and turns of his own experience on Zhao Shuli’s writing,in the process of literary creation,Zhao Shuli further clarified that he wanted to better write for the peasant masses,and tried to overcome the European style of early literature in the form of literature.Moreover,in the process of exploration,Zhao Shuli also further expanded his literary vision and began to pay attention to the development of social and political revolution.Chapter three,the further improvement of Zhao Shuli’s creative concept after the total Anti-Japanese War(1937-1942).In 1937,the war of Resistance against Japanese aggression broke out,and peasants became the main force of the war of Resistance against Japanese aggression.At present,Zhao Shuli participated in a large number of newspaper editing,but also emphasized the propaganda of Anti-Japanese War among peasants in his literary creation.From this period on,Zhao Shuli made clear his position,focusing on the propaganda and praise of the Anti-Japanese War and the construction of border regions under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.Chapter four,the correspondence between Zhao Shuli’s creative idea and the spirit of Speech(1943-1949).In 1943,One of Zhao Shuli’s most representative works,Xiao Erhei Marriage,was published and caused an unprecedented sensation.Its writing on the folk and politics happened to agree with Mao Zedong’s Speech at the Yan’an Forum on Literature and Art.And chao will farmers,rural areas and the creation of the revolution,and the combination of policy,promote the party’s policy,and encourage everyone to actively the Anti-Japanese War,and Speech to a certain extent of literary and art workers required to write for the masses of workers,peasants and soldiers,to do service for political,literature to assist revolutionary work,such as“down with our nation’s enemies”idea is echoed.It is precisely this combination that makes Zhao Shuli’s novels become literary achievements under the guidance of Speech and makes him a representative of “direction”in literary and art circles.Finally,in the conclusion part,the paper will analyze the estrangement between Zhao Shuli’s popular creation and main stream ideology through the controversial phenomenon of Zhao Shuli’s novels after the founding of new China,and thus see the enlightenment significance of Zhao Shuli’s popular creation concept to the development of contemporary literature and art.
