The related theoretical achievements of TBLT first appeared in the late 1970s,and it has been widely used in language teaching practice and achieved excellent results.TBLT is regarded as one of the important ways to promote English teaching reform in The English Curriculum Standards formulated and issued by the Ministry of Education of China.The wide application of TBLT not only helps to reform the teaching concept of basic education practitioners,but also helps to improve the comprehensive language use ability of the educated,and can effectively overcome many problems existing in the traditional teaching method,so as to achieve the purpose of learning for use.In this paper,according to the requirements of the new standard for listening skills training,the task-based teaching content of the definition,connotation and theory were summarized,and the current task type teaching method in junior middle school English listening teaching practice has carried on the research,and then to task-based teaching method in the process of practice has carried on the induction summary exposed problems,put forward relevant Suggestions,in order to improve the quality of teaching,Help students improve their Listening skills.In this paper,the integrated use of the face-to-face interviews,questionnaires and classroom observation research methods,to staff’s understanding of task-based teaching method and the master degree as a starting point,through the listening classroom implementation and investigation of the project such as teachers’ views,according to the survey results,as shown in part of the teachers of task-based teaching method insufficient cognition,understanding does not reach the designated position,attitude is not clear,Lack of task design and practical operation ability,large class size,heavy management tasks,as well as the evaluation mechanism of high school entrance examination have brought many obstacles to the effective implementation of TBLT in English listening class.After systematic analysis,this paper gives the following countermeasures:first,strengthen teacher training,change teachers’ teaching concept,correctly and comprehensively understand task-based teaching method;Secondly,teachers should improve their comprehensive quality and teaching ability through independent learning to ensure the effective implementation of task-based teaching method in listening class.Third,the establishment of diversified evaluation standards,reduce the burden of teachers,for the smooth implementation of TBLT in English listening class to provide institutional guarantee.
