| Possible complement is a unique and frequently used structural form in Chinese,so it is the focus of teaching Chinese as a foreign language.However,for Lao students,possible complement is also a difficult grammar point.Students will not only confuse possible complement with other language structure forms,but even avoid them.The Productionoriented-approach can solve these problems well by focusing on the characteristics of output.We investigated the current situation of Chinese possible complement teaching by front-line teachers in Soochow University,Confucius Institute of Lao National University and Zhanpa Laotian-Chinese Training Center,and found that the teaching mode of teachers is generally traditional and the teaching effect is mediocre.We also combined the use of possible complements by Lao students in HSK dynamic composition corpus,and selected"V+de(得)/bu(不)+C" as the focus of the questionnaire survey according to the level of students in the Chinese training class of Soochow University in Laos and the teaching progress.The results showed that students did not have a good grasp of possible complements and often avoided them.It is confused with the verb "neng(能)",resultant complement,modal complement and other grammatical points.Based on the analysis and thinking of the survey results,the author tries to introduce the "Production-oriented-approach" into the teaching of possible complement in Lao Chinese,and conducts an empirical study on the teaching effect.We believe that"Production-oriented-approach" focuses on learning itself and emphasizes the characteristics of cultivating output ability,which makes it feasible to apply it to the teaching of possible complement in Lao Chinese.Therefore,according to the concept and hypothesis of"Production-oriented-approach",we carried out the preliminary analysis of teaching,and carried out the teaching experiment in HSK4A Class of The Chinese Training class of Soochow University in Laos.Then,we analyzed the teaching experiment effect from the language test results and students’ attitudes and suggestions to "Production-orientedapproach".It is found that the teaching effect of Production-oriented-approach is better than the general teaching method,and it can effectively improve the output ability of possible complement of Lao students.Laotian students are more receptive to the Production-orientedapproach in the teaching of possible complements.The experimental results also suggest that teachers should further clarify the output tasks to students and control the teaching speed in the teaching process.Based on the above investigation and experimental results,we put forward three teaching suggestions on the use of "Producticn-oriented-approach" in the teaching of possible complement in Lao Chinese:1.We should adhere to the teaching principles of"learning-centered","integrating learning with application",cultivating students’ key abilities and localization.2.Teaching content should be handled flexibly,not only the actual teaching content should be selected,but also the differentiated teaching should be strengthened.3.Among the specific links,the driving link should stimulate students’ learning desire,the enabling link should strengthen input,and the assessing link should carry out teacher-student cooperation and mobilize students’ enthusiasm to participate in class. |
