| Bernhard Lang,born in Linz,Austria on February 24,1957,is a contemporary Austrian composer whose creation is deeply influenced by "avant-garde" composers.After completing his studies at Brookner college high school,he moved to Graz to study jazz piano,composition and classical piano.There,he also studied philosophy and German philology.In 2006,he participated in the Vienna Modern Art Festival as a specially invited artist.From 2013 to 2014,he was a guest lecturer in composition at the lucerne Conservatory of music.Bernhard Lang is more active among Contemporary German Austrian avant-garde composers.His creative genres are extensive,involving orchestral music,chamber music,musical,film music and other aspects.His creative style is novel and his writing skills are unique,which is worthy of our study and reference.The work studied in this thesis is "differenz / Wiederholung 3",which is his Trio for Flute,Cello and accordion.This series began in 1998,and so far there have been dozens of works in different formats and genres.In 1998,Bernhard Lang created "differenz / Wiederholung 1",the first work in the series,for Flute,Cello and piano.The work has a certain novelty in compilation,is deeply influenced by the philosophy at that time in creative concept,and highlights the repetition and change of materials in composition techniques,which makes the work carry out personalized exploration at different levels on the basis of inheriting tradition.Based on the personal growth and creative experience of composer Bernhard Lang,this paper makes a more comprehensive analysis of the creative background,pitch organization,structural layout,rhythm and beat and timbre techniques of difference / repetition 3,and summarizes its creative concept,mode of thinking and specific writing techniques,especially the two unified logical techniques of "difference and repetition",In the context of modern music.Finally,through the analysis and research of the work,the creative techniques are summarized,so as to enrich the domestic understanding and understanding of the composer Bernhard Lang’s creation. |
