Study On The Creation And Performance Of Sun Yiqiang’s Piano Work Capriccio

"Capriccio" is a piano solo work created by Sun Yiqiang,a famous Chinese American pianist,composer and educator,in march 2020.This work is based on the Jiangsu folk song"Jasmine Flower" as the creative material,and is created by associating and developing the melody and music content of the material itself.In the process of studying this work,the author found that this piece is ingenious in conception,profound in artistic conception,and has a variety of performance skills and rich performance effects.In the research process of this paper,the author contacted the composer himself and made an exclusive interview,collected the composer’s ideas and ideas on the creation and performance of this work,combined with his own research and performance practice of the work,explored the creative idea of this new work,studied the skills and musicality of the work at the performance level,and provided referential work style and performance suggestions to those who came into contact with this work.At the same time,summarize and think about the educational significance and training value of the works.This paper mainly uses the methods of investigation,practice and literature research to study,and collates and summarizes the composer’s interview,literature research and performance practice experience.The first chapter introduces Sun Yiqiang character background and the creation background of "Capriccio",and probes into the music style of his works.The second chapter studies the music elements and image style of the works from the perspective of creation and performance practice.The third chapter studies the skills and musicality of the actual performance from the perspective of the performer,and explores the significance and value of the artistic expression,education and training of the works.
