| The research object of this paper is the two syllable structure of homomorphic phrases and words, focusing on the differences between phrases and words in this kind of homomorphic structure. For example,"bao che 1(regularly rent vehicles)" and "baoche 2(regularly rented vehicles)"," bao che 1" is a disyllabic phrase," baoche 2" is a disyllabic word. This study calls this kind of structure "Homomorphic Structure of Disyllabic Phrases and Words".The academic research on phrases and words is fruitful, but there are some deficiencies such as limited research ideas and single research materials.Based on the previous research experience, this paper studies the characteristics of "Homomorphic Structure of Disyllabic Phrases and Words" from the aspects of semantic motivation, extended combinatorial function, prosodic mode, light tone characteristics and context analysis. The classified investigation of this kind of homomorphic structure can deepen the differential research between Modern Chinese phrases and words. This study consists of five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which mainly sets forth the reasons for choosing the topic, generalizes the research status, and defines the research methods and corpus sources. The second chapter is screening and classification. This chapter primarily defines the screening criteria of "Homomorphic Structure of Disyllabic Phrases and Words",and classifies and counts the screening objects.Firstly, combining the characteristics of phrases and words and the characteristics of the research object, this paper puts forward detailed screening criteria. Finally, based on the refined screening criteria, the"Homomorphic Structure of Disyllabic Phrases and Words" in the Modern Chinese Dictionary(7th Edition)is screened and classified. The third chapter investigates the "Homomorphic Structure of Disyllabic Phrases and Words" under the classification, which is the focus of this study. This chapter mainly investigates the homomorphic structure of "Verb phrase-Noun","Verb phrase-Verb","Verb phrase-Adjective" and "Noun phrase-Noun" from the aspects of semantics, grammar, pronunciation and pragmatics.Research finds that:Firstly,at the semantic level.Phrase meaning has "explicit motivation" and word meaning has "latent motivation".The expression of "latent motivation" of word meaning can be divided into four kinds:the polysemy of constituent semantics, the generalization and grammaticalization of constituent semantics, the use of external rhetorical devices and the transfer of verb phrases.Secondly,at the grammatical level. The expansion and combination forms of phrases are richer than words. The main reasons for this difference include:the weakening of the real meaning of the constituent components of words and the enhancement of the specificity of the whole word meaning.Thirdly,at the phonetic level. There are differences in the three syllable extended prosodic patterns of phrases and words:the two syllable predicate object phrase can only disyllabize the object to form the prosodic pattern of[1+2];disyllabic words can only disyllabize the predicate and form the prosodic pattern of[2+1].In addition, through investigation and research,it is found that the distribution tendency of light tone in words is strong. Finally,at the pragmatic level. This study puts forward a feasible distinction method"Contextual Reasoning".There are two kinds of feasible methods:the first is reasoning according to the form of language expression, including Combinatorial Reasoning,Parallel Reasoning and Ambiguity Analysis; The second category is based on the content of language expression, including Word Context Inference,Phrase Context Inference and Text Context Inference. The specific reasoning method needs to be determined according to the specific context. The fourth chapter mainly analyzes the causes of "Homomorphic Structure of Disyllabic Phrases and Words",and expounds the value of understanding and using this kind of homomorphic structure. The fifth chapter is the conclusion, which primarily distills the focus of the research and analyses the novelty value and shortcomings of this research. |
