| Volunteer service is an important symbol to measure the degree of a society’s civilization,and it is also an important way for college students in our country to participate in social moral practice.It contains rich ethical connotations.In the process of participating in volunteer service,college students can effectively improve their ideological and moral quality and comprehensive ability,and can also promote the construction of a socialist harmonious society.Under the background of vigorously promoting the construction of civic morality in the new era and strengthening the moral education of college students,the ethical analysis of college students’ volunteer services is conducive to promoting the healthy development of college students’ volunteer services.The traditional Chinese Confucian thought of "benevolence loves others",the Mohist thought of "universal love and mutual benefit",the Taoist thought of "accumulating virtue and doing good",the modern Chinese Communist Party’s revolutionary spirit and socialist core values,modern Western humanitarianism and communitarianism,constitute a combination of The ethical basis of college students’ volunteer service.In the process of volunteer service practice,it reflects the consciousness of college student volunteers in fulfilling moral responsibility,the altruism of pursuing selfless dedication,the human nature of advocating humanitarianism,and the public welfare of building a harmonious society.As a kind of moral practice,college students’ volunteer service has multiple ethical values: it is conducive to cultivating and perfecting college students’ moral personality,promoting the unification of college students’ moral concept and moral practice,helping college students to establish a correct view of happiness,and conducive to college students’ civic consciousness.Cultivating,at the same time,is conducive to promoting social fairness and justice and building a socialist harmonious society.At present,my country’s college students’ volunteer service has achieved many achievements in long-term practice,such as the obvious effect of improving the comprehensive quality of college students,promoting the development of ideological and political work in colleges and universities,and achieving good social and economic benefits and governance benefits.However,in the process of practice,there have also been ethical issues such as the unsteady will of college students’ volunteer service,the tendency of volunteer service to be formalized,the utilitarian tendency of participating in volunteer service,and the low degree of social recognition,which seriously affects the healthy development of college students’ volunteer service.To analyze the causes of the above ethical problems,we can start from two aspects:strengthening the cultivation of college students’ volunteer service spirit and improving the guarantee mechanism of college students’ volunteer service,so as to promote the healthy development of college students’ volunteer service and help build a harmonious socialist society. |
