The study of old Chinese sounds’ rhyme categorie originated in the Song and Ming dynasties and developed in the Qing Dynasty. Many Scholars pursued it assiduously, among which Wang Li worked very hard and modified his conclusion many times.Compared with the division of the rhyme categories, the order is particularly tortuous. Is it You(幽)Jue(觉)Dong(冬)or Zhi(支)Xi(锡)Geng(耕)after Zhi(之)Zhi(职)Zheng(蒸)? Can Zhi(支)Xi(锡)Geng(耕)be next to the rhyme categories ending with [-k]? Different answers to these two questions will change the rhyme order.Later scholars have made different choices on the version of rhyme sequence when quoting Wang Li’s system, which also shows the complexity of rhyme sequence. The rhyming system for Pre-Qin poetry was studied early and frequently appeared in the study of rhyme categorie. The perfect rhyming table of The Book of Songs has occurred. However, the differences in the rhyme sequence still exist,so it is imperative to seek other materials for further exploration. The borrowed characters entered the field of study of rhymes quite early. The personal tailoring of borrowed characters applied by scholars in the Qing Dynasty and the publication of borrowed graph dictionaries in recent years make it promising to study rhyme sorting by borrowed characters. This paper uses Bai Yulan’s "A Collection of the Interchangeable Characters in Bamboo Slips and Books Copied on Silk"(2017)as the material source.Firstly, the collection method is used to sort out 630 groups of borrowed characters related to the seventeen rhymes.Secondly, the statistical method is used to determine the intimate degree of rhyme categories and then arrange the rhyme order. This paper is divided into three parts:The first part is the introduction, which includes the basis and significance of the topic, the current research situation, materials and methods. The second part includes six chapters, classifying and analyzing the borrowed characters in order of Zhi(之)Zhi(职)Zheng(蒸),You(幽)Jue(觉)Dong(冬),Xiao(宵)Yao(药),Hou(侯)Wu(屋)Dong(东),Yu(鱼)Duo(铎)Yang(阳),Zhi(支)Xi(锡)Geng(耕).The interchangeable characters containing different rhymes will be marked with fanqie(反切),phonological information of middle Chinese sounds, and initials and rhymes of old Chinese sounds. Then cite examples from Bamboo Slips and Books Copied on Silk to prove the reliability of these characters. The third part is the conclusion, which observes communication frequency and determines the relationship of duizhuan(对转)and pangzhuan(旁转)between the seventeen rhyme categories. The rhyme order is identified as Xiao(宵)Yao(药),You(幽)Jue(觉)Dong(冬),Hou(侯)Wu(屋)Dong(东),Yu(鱼)Duo(铎)Yang(阳),Zhi(之)Zhi(职)Zheng(蒸),Zhi(支)Xi(锡)Geng(耕).
