The Central Weekly, founded in 1938,was an important propaganda publication of the Kuomintang during the war.Out of the need for wartime propaganda,it published many articles on international issues during the war. Most of the authors of these articles not only studied in Europe and the United States, but also deeply participated in the foreign policy-making of the national government during the war. Therefore, this article takes the articles about the observation of international issues published in the "Central Weekly" as the research object, based on the historical process after the outbreak of the Anti-Japanese War,the international observation of the Chinese people during the war,and the specific diplomatic actions of the National Government.Taking into account the professional characteristics of the author groups of "Central Weekly" and the influence of their observation and thinking on the international situation on the national level, the author will conduct research on international observations and thinking in different regions and different stages through the author groups of "Central Weekly".It is hoped that through the detailed study of the case of "Central Weekly",it will show the change of the Chinese people’s diplomatic concept after the outbreak of the all-out Anti-Japanese War,and thus to demonstrate that in the face of the invasion of foreign enemies, the weak country hopes for the assistance of the strong country, and the national consciousness of the country is enhanced.Against this background, the international observations of intellectuals represented by the group of authors of "Central Weekly" mainly focus on the desire for international assistance, the struggle for national independence, and the establishment of post-war status as a great power. This not only has important academic value, but also has practical significance.
