Research On The Language Form Of Wang Yuping’s Paintings

Wang Yuping was once an important representative of the "new generation" painting group.He established a distinct personal style with exaggerated subjective shapes and unique use of colors.His works are old-fashioned and casual,simple and restrained,and the concise language is interesting.He tells the softness and beauty of ordinary life in a way of "Ukiyo-e in the market".Every time I stand in front of his paintings,I deeply appreciate the profound attraction of painting.Few strokes,intriguing.In order to better complete my graduation creation and improve my painting standard,I have analyzed the painting language of Wang Yuping’s painting.The article starts from the research of techniques as a whole.First,it analyzes the technical characteristics of Wang Yuping’s painting by elements,then it analyzes the works,and finally it is the enlightenment to me.The first chapter of this paper adopts the research method of theoretical research combined with case analysis,starting from the background of Wang Yuping’s era,to Wang Yuping’s formation of a unique painting language such as composition expression,unique line use,color preference,color matching and other aspects..The second chapter analyzes the works of Wang Yuping’s "Jingshan Front Street","Jingshan West Street" and "Old Road" series of works through the integration of the painting elements in the first chapter.The third chapter describes Wang Yuping’s inspiration for my creation.It reminds me to create works from the things that are closely related to me.I hope that through Wang Yuping’s unique artistic techniques,the casual and simple artistic attitude can help me fill in my own artistic blank.
